This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal assembly consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
This pump is driven by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. It operates at 1750 RPM and is mounted on a 326T NEMA motor frame. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system is configured for across the line starting, operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature, and maintains a PEI of 0.93.
