This end suction pump utilizes a class 30 cast iron casing with center-line discharge and integral mounting feet. An internally balanced bronze impeller is secured to a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between circulating fluid and the shaft. A ceramic and EPT mechanical seal regulates fluid containment, providing operation up to 125 PSI. This assembly permits maintenance of the seal and internal components without disturbing system piping.
The 30 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM and integrates Aegis shaft grounding, powered by 380-460V / 3PH with a DOE PEI of 0.44. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a mechanical disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
