This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It utilizes a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is housed in a NEMA 286 TS frame, rated for 230-460/60/3PH power and 40°C ambient conditions. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a standard Woods coupler and greasable bearings. The pump has a PEI value of 0.95.
