This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The unit uses a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump assembly provides a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor is built on a 145 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump has a PEI of 0.78. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections are provided.
