This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is equipped with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit is constructed without a wear ring and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 575/60/3 PH power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55. The motor uses a JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the assembly includes no drip cover. The motor maintains an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C and holds a DOE PEI rating of 0.86. The top center line discharge configuration assists in piping layouts and self-venting.
