This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
The assembly is powered by a 10 HP Baldor ODP motor with a NEMA 215T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. Electrical input is 200V/60Hz/3PH, configured for across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor by a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The bearing frame features greasable bearings. This model has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
