This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 10" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit uses a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and is suitable for clean water applications. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 215T frame. It is configured for a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The assembly features a 40°C ambient rating and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
