This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. It includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 254T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power and uses across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for premium efficiency, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
