This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and utilizes a center-line discharge configuration.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 256T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet premium efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The motor connects to the pump via a Woods coupler, protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan. This model maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
