This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber components, supporting operation in clean water temperatures up to 300°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP ODP Baldor motor. It is built on a NEMA 213 T-frame and requires a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly uses a Woods coupler, a welded base with an integrated drip pan, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This configuration is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
