This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. This unit includes bronze wear rings, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge assists in system venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power and features a 145 JM motor frame with feet. The motor is a Super E Premium Efficiency model that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The unit utilizes across the line starting and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.85.
