This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
This pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This configuration is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a PEI of 0.88.
