This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design utilizes a dry shaft that prevents contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and the pump includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits servicing without removing system piping.
The pump is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor operating at 1750 RPM. It features an ODP enclosure and is mounted in a 215 JM frame with feet. The motor is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across-the-line starting. It meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. This equipment complies with Department of Energy requirements with a PEI of 0.86.
