This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 324 T frame. It functions on 230-460/60/3 power and supports across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA containing a Woods coupler. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump maintains a PEI value of 0.94 and operates in a 40°C ambient temperature.
