This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge. The casing is constructed of cast iron with ANSI Class 125 flanges and an integrated bronze wear ring. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and is supported by greaseable bearings within the bearing frame.
The pump is powered by a 20 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor housed in a TEFC NEMA 256 T frame enclosure. It operates on a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupling connects the pump to the motor, which meets NEMA premium efficiency standards. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and has a DOE PEI value of 0.97.
