This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. It also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor is built on a 145JM frame with feet and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements, with a DOE PEI value of 0.86. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top centerline discharge supports a self-venting installation.
