This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It uses a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 286T frame. The electrical configuration is 380/60/3. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The motor and pump system incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This specific configuration has a DOE PEI rating of 0.97.
