This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water up to 300°F. It includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured in a NEMA 286T frame and operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and is configured for across the line starting.
