This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve as part of a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes tappings at the suction and discharge connections for gauge installation.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame configuration. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power and utilizes across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, which is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard.
