This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft design, preventing fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which allows for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This pump is configured for clean water applications and includes flush seal line taps for maintenance.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP WEG motor with an ODP enclosure in a NEMA 182 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60/3PH with an Across the Line starting option. The motor assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupler. The equipment features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI value of 0.86. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and counter-clockwise rotation.
