This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent system fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design incorporates flush seal line taps for filtration and a rear pullout configuration for service access. The discharge is positioned at the top center line to reduce piping strain.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 575V/60Hz/3PH power supply using across-the-line starting. The motor is built on a 284 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor complies with NEMA standards for 40°C ambient temperatures and meets Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 requirements. This model has a PEI of 0.89.
