This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 3" suction, and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly utilizes a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. A bronze wear ring is installed within the casing.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured in a NEMA 254 T-frame and supports a 230-460V/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. It features a greasable bearing frame and a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This assembly meets NEMA standards, including premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55 with AEGIS shaft grounding. The DOE PEI value for this pump is 0.89.
