This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes suction and discharge pressure tappings, and the pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 215 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly maintains a DOE PEI of 0.93.
