This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit incorporates a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a center-line discharge. It is equipped with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly uses a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections, and the bearing frame contains permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 145T NEMA T-frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is configured with a welded base featuring an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model has a PEI of 0.85 and supports across the line starting.
