This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design, consisting of a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly features a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. This unit is configured for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is constructed on a NEMA 213 T-frame and requires a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. Starting is configured for across the line operation.
