This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with an easily replaceable slip-on shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features a JM frame style with feet. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA standard MG1-12.55 for premium efficiency. This unit uses an across the line starting option and maintains a 40 °C ambient rating. The pump has a PEI value of 0.84.
