This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings with a minimum L10 life of 60,000 hours.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The electrical configuration is 200V, 60Hz, 3PH, housed in a NEMA 145T frame. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integrated drip pan, connected via a Woods coupler and enclosed by a standard coupler guard. The DOE PEI value for this pump is 0.81.
