This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This model is configured without a wear ring.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 184T frame. It requires a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and uses an across-the-line starting option with a CCW rotation. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and greasable bearings. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards MG1-12.55 and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit has a DOE PEI of 0.89 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
