This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps for optional filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with a 40°C ambient rating and a 215JM motor frame with feet. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump adheres to NEMA standards, operates in a counter-clockwise rotation, and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
