This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and cover, an 11" nominal stainless steel (NSF61) impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation up to 250°F. The unit features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a 256 JM frame with feet. The motor operates on 230-460V / 3PH power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The starting configuration is across the line. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.91. The unit uses CCW rotation and does not include a drip cover.
