This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The unit includes a mechanical seal consisting of a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
This pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor operates at 3450 RPM and is built on a NEMA 184T frame. The unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes a Woods coupler to connect to the pump. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a coupler guard. The system meets NEMA standards and has a PEI of 0.94.
