This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. Internal components include a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal with a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber. This model is rated for fluid temperatures up to 225°F and utilizes a dry shaft design. The casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It features a 182 JM motor frame with mounting feet and across the line starting. The assembly is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration simplifies venting and piping layouts.
