This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design includes a dry shaft configuration and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 182T NEMA frame. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The system is configured for across the line starting and operates in a 40 °C ambient environment with a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
