This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, incorporating a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 286 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The system includes AEGIS shaft grounding, a Woods coupler, and a welded base with an integral drip pan. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit has a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.9.
