This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It has a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. The unit uses a 13-1/2" stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a rear pullout feature and a top center line discharge. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a JM frame style with feet. The unit operates at 1150 RPM with a power supply of 200V, 60Hz, 3PH. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and uses an across the line starting option with CCW rotation. The assembly features a dry shaft configuration that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
