This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter, a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design for servicing and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 256 JM frame style including feet. The electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH. This model uses an across the line starting option and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump has a PEI value of 0.92 and operates in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C. The unit is configured for CCW rotation and does not include a drip cover or wear ring.
