This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and cover with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. It uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. This unit is configured with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 145 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and requires a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor is configured with AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The starting option is across the line, and the system is designed for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
