This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated dry shaft design. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 184T frame. The motor provides premium efficiency, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3 PH with an across-the-line starting configuration. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard to connect the pump to the motor. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.85 and features sealed-for-life bearings with a 60,000-hour L10 life rating.
