This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a dry shaft design with a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve that prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the unit includes flush seal line taps for the optional installation of a filter.
This pump is driven by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted in a 324 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor assembly includes a factory-installed drip cover and AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and has a PEI of 0.9.
