This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with a bronze wear ring. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with pump venting and piping layout.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI rating of 0.94. The motor is mounted in a 324 JM frame with feet and is designed for across-the-line starting in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
