This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and buna rubber components, with a temperature rating of 225°F. The casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly is secured to a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This unit has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.88.
