This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and the rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and features an ODP motor enclosure with a drip cover. The electrical configuration includes 230-460/60/3PH, across the line starting, and a 40°C ambient rating. The motor is NEMA standard and meets premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit operates with counter-clockwise rotation and holds a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
