This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design includes a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and simplified layouts.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with an across the line starting option for 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power. The motor utilizes a 254 JM frame with feet. This pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding, meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards, and has a PEI value of 0.9. It is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and operates up to 250°F.
