This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250°F. The assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring and utilizes greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 254 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor. The unit is rated for an ambient temperature of 40°C and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
