This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and the unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 256 JM frame with feet. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the pump has a PEI of 0.89. The system is rated for operation up to 250 °F and features a top center line discharge configuration.
