This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. A bronze wear ring is included within the casing assembly to maintain hydraulic efficiency.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor housed in a NEMA 182T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a standard Woods coupler. The unit utilizes greasable bearings in the bearing frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI of 0.86.
