This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and center-line discharge. It is equipped with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 230-460/60/3 PH Baldor motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, NEMA 256T frame, and meets premium efficiency standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods flexible coupler connects the pump to the motor. This equipment has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
