This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The casing is constructed of cast iron. The pump includes a mechanical seal with a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Buna rubber components, rated for operation at temperatures up to 225°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power and uses a NEMA 184T frame. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a PEI of 0.86. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation and standard across the line starting.
