This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, which prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A dry shaft design allows for operation at 125 PSI without the use of a wear ring. Mechanical sealing consists of a ceramic seat half with EPT rubber elements to maintain fluid containment. The casing includes suction and discharge gauge ports, as well as a bottom drain port, providing access for system maintenance without disturbing connected piping.
This 7.5 HP premium efficiency ODP motor operates at 1750 RPM with Aegis shaft grounding on a 200-230V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
