This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The pump assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a maximum operating temperature of 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design for servicing. The top center line discharge configuration facilitates venting and simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is driven by a 20 HP WEG motor operating at 1750 RPM within a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes a JM motor frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with a counter-clockwise rotation and has a PEI value of 0.94.
